Designer, Creator

For the past nine years I've been working with the talented bunch at Creator, a design agency whose clients span sport, entertainment, gaming, and hospitality. The work is high volume and fast-paced. One day I'm designing social campaigns for a product launch, the next I'm working on website layouts or creating promotional assets that need to stretch across multiple platforms.

A big part of my role has involved brand and logo design for independent businesses and startups. It's the side of design I enjoy most, getting under the skin of a business, figuring out what makes it tick, and creating an identity that actually reflects that.

Over the years it has taught me how to work quickly without losing the craft, how to build design systems that actually hold up when they're handed off to client teams, and how to balance creative ambition with tight deadlines and real-world expectations.

Junior Designer, Blue Shark

This is where I learned the fundamentals, back when I was still figuring out how to turn a client brief into an actual visual solution. I spent most of my time on brand identity projects, designing interfaces, and learning how to present work confidently without sounding like I was making it up as I went along (even when I was).

It was the classic junior designer experience: lots of iterations, lots of feedback, lots of tea-making. But it's where I developed my eye for detail and understood that the job isn't to make something look cool, it's to solve the right problem in a way the client can actually use. Getting thrown in the deep end early was the best thing that could've happened.
